“Adults keep saying: “We owe it to the young people to give them hope.”
But I don’t want your hope.
I don’t want you to be hopeful.
I want you to panic.
I want you to feel the fear I feel every day.
And then I want you to act.
I want you to act as you would in a crisis.
I want you to act as if our house is on fire.
Because it is.”
―  Greta Thunberg,  No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference

In “I don’t want you to be hopeful.” I confront myself with my own lack of action in contributing in a better world for our next generations.

So many challenges face us, mainly climate change and its associated problems. What do I need to take make a difference? Why am I not bothered enough to take REAL action?
How can we embrace eachother as citizens of this world and fight for the future of our children?
